Is it possible for him to be too affectionate?

This is exactly what I am going through. Exept we are both 14 and this is my first boyfriend and I am not his first girlfriend. He always kisses me and touches and hugs me. My friends always say "pda" when he starts to hug me. I like it that he likes me a lot and everything but I would like for us to hang out more like other couuples in our grade. Ugh. I think the best thing is to talk to him and tell him you dont want to be too affectionate just yet. If he really likes you he"ll understand.
