Can being a fan of a certain team drive you to hate the sport?

Well there are alot of Yankees fans throughtout the nation. But never forget that there are as much Yankees haters also. If the Yankees start playing like the Cubs (will not happen for a while) then their fans will definitely hate baseball because their team is not performing properly. Answering your last question, nNo, I do not see the Cubs doing that bad for 20 years. They have stupendous players it is just that they need to improve in their defense and pitching once they get the pieces they need in both the draft and trades/free agency they will be a strong contender and even have a ticket in the World Series.
