Pregnancy with minimal medical interference?

You need a test to see if you are immune to measles and to check your thyroid and blood count. If there is diabetes anywhere in your family, you will probably need a fasting glucose test. With my third pregnancy, because of insurance reasons, I never saw the doctor until I was seven months along. I did my own prenatal care. I took my vitamins, and kept track of my weight and blood pressure. I wrote it all down on a chart. I never had ultrasound or the doppler with any of my pregnancies and I never had a fasting glucose test. My baby never had the vitamin K shot, HEB shot at birth, or the eye drops. My babies never had any shots until six months old. My husband even heard the heartbeat at 26 weeks using a stethoscope.
