Any advice on upgrading my guitar pickups?

I have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster Hss, it comes with 2 Tex-Mex single coil pickups, and a Fender Diamondback Humbucker pickup at the bridge. It is a great guitar, but I am wondering if it is worth buying new pickups. By the way I am looking for a Pink Floyd kind of sound, and I have a Vox AD30 Valvetronix amp.
